Nelson’s Golden Giant Tomato

An heirloom tomato that came from Nelson Gray of Milan, Ohio. These are a mid to late season plant with regular leaves. They produce these large golden orange beefsteak tomatoes. The flavor of this tomato has a great blend of sweet, an acidity with some tang as well. This is also an indeterminate variety that will produce until the frost comes. Be sure to stake your plants very good since these are a very heavy tomato. The weights for these tomatoes were well over 1 pound. But some tomatoes were even over 2 pounds.
