This is a rare Appalachian heirloom bean that is from North Carolina. These are a mid-season variety around 70-80 days. It is a pole bean, so be sure to take your plants well. This is a heavy producer of these 4 inch to 5 inch string beans. They have a shiny outer skin. A very hearty tasting white bean that could be used for both snapping and cooking.
