Description
Oncle Remi Tomato
A large red heirloom beefsteak that was brought to France from Algeria back in 1962. This tomato is also known as Moya tomato as well. These are a mid-season variety with regular leaves. This is also an indeterminate tomato. Be sure to stake your plants well with this plant. They are a big producer of these 1 pound (ca. 454 gram) plus fruits that are crack resistant. They are juicy with a rich, sweet, acidic with a hint of smokiness. Makes for a great slicer, canning and very popular at markets.
