Pampelmousse Du Grand Tomato

This is a rare heirloom tomato from France. This is also known as Pamapelmous Du Grand-Pere tomato. These tomatoes were created by Michel Berthier Decines. This was offered back in 1982 and the cross was Annas and Rose De Berne tomatoes. A mid-season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. This is also an indeterminate variety that produce these 7oz (ca. 265 gram) to 10oz (ca. 378 gram) yellow and orange tomatoes. The flavor of these delicious tomatoes are balanced but lean more to the sweet side. A great slicing tomato for sandwiches and vegetable trays.
