Panther Tomato

Created by Dean Slater of Michigan. A mid-season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that will produce until the frost comes if you take care of your plants. These beefsteak tomatoes are a deep burgundy in color with black stripes. The weights will range from 6 ounces up to 8 ounces in size. This tomato has a fruity but sweet flavor to them. They could be used as a slicer, or add to sauces and garnishes to bring a different flavor element. If you like Panther Tomato, you may like Panther Cherry Tomato.
