This is an heirloom tomato from an old Hawaiian cultivar from the University of Hawaii, released around 1945. These tomatoes were named because of the bombing at Pearl Harbor. A mid-season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produces these red beefsteak tomatoes. The weights can range from 5 ounces up to 10 ounces These fruit have well-balanced flavors with slight acidity and a tanginess. This tomato could be used for slicing, canning, garnishes, or salsas.
