This is a rare heirloom tomato that dates back to the 1950s from Kentucky. A mid-season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that is a heavy producer of these medium beefsteak tomatoes. They have a weight range from 8 ounces (ca. 302 gram) to 12 ounces (ca. 454 gram). The flavors are a combination of sweet and tartness. It favors the tart taste at first then mellows out leaving you wanting more.
