Pepe’s Gigante Tomato

This is a late season variety with regular leaf foliage. It is an indeterminate variety that produces these large red beefsteak tomatoes. The average weights we got were around 13 ounces due to where we had them in our garden. But others have proved they can get to be over 2 pounds. With this variety, be sure to stake your plants well from the weight and the production. These fruits are both juicy and meat, but have a sweet flavor.
