PPP x PP”C” Tomato

A rare variety that was created by Tad Smith. The cross was between Pale Purple Perfect and Purple Price tomatoes. There were 3 varieties of this cross and were called A, B, and C. This is the C version and is the potato leaf type. These have an excellent sweet and rich flavor with slight acidity. A mid-season type, of an indeterminate plant which is a magnificent producer of these black 9 oz (ca. 340 gram) -10 oz (ca. 378 gram) beefsteaks.
