This is an heirloom tomato that was introduced in 1889 by H. G. Hastings and Co. A mid-late season variety with regular leaf foliage. Also, an indeterminate tomato plant which produces a lot of these 3 oz to 4 oz red fruits. These have a great full flavor, mild, and have a slight lean towards the acidic side. It is an excellent snacking and fresh eating tomato. This will also do well at farmers markets as well because of the production and flavor.
