Ring of Fire Pepper
This pepper is also known as Ring O Fire Pepper. The name of this pepper came from a Johnny Cash song. The Scoville rating for the Ring Of Fire Pepper ranges from 20,000 to 50,000 (SHU). This pepper is said to have originated in Mexico. An early season pepper plant that produces these 4 inch long and slender red pods. They will turn from green to a bright red when fully ripe. These will do well for short season grows. This variety would be great to take to farmers markets because of the amount of peppers these plants yield. This is a great pepper to cook with, add to sauces, or powders. Another Pepper you may like is Maui Purple Pepper.
