Summer Love Tomato

Bred by Brad Gates of Napa Valley, California. This was out of his Pink Berkeley Tie Dye lines. Our Summer Love Tomato tended to have more of the green coloring and less of the gold and red colors.  In the picture below, you can see the striping and some gold coloring. This was a great tasting tomato with a sweet flavor. A mid-season variety with regular leaves. This is an indeterminate plant that produces these larger green bicolored tomatoes. We have gotten weights for these tomatoes from 8oz (ca. 302 gram) to 13oz (ca. 491 gram). They could be used for slicing, garnishes, or canning.
