This is a rare Swiss heirloom pole bean. These are also known as Landfrauen which translates to country woman in German. A heavy early producing plant (60 days) of these stringless 5 inch to 6 inch green pods with purple streaks. The vine can reach up to 8 feet tall. This variety will need extra support.
