These tomatoes are also known as Purple Russian Tomato. This is a mid-season tomato plant (78 days) with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produce these black, elongated tomatoes. These will produce until frost time if you take care of your plants. The weights can range from 2 ounces (ca. 76 gram) up to 11 ounces (ca. 416 gram). These fruits would be great for canning, sauces, and pastes. The flavor starts out acidic, then mellows after a few seconds. They are a very juicy and meaty fruit too.
