These tomatoes were discovered by Val and Dan McMurray back in 2005. Dan and Val lived in Canada. They are very well know for the tomatoes they created and discovered over the years. This is a midseason, regular leaf, indeterminate tomato plant. It’s a very productive plant producing fruits weighing from 2-3oz. Val’s Black Striped tomato tends to have thicker wall with a slightly acidic taste but very juicy. Uses for this gorgeous fruit could be for snacking, salads, and markets.
