Wes Tomato

This is an heirloom tomato with an unknown origin. A mid to late season tomato plant (80–85 days) with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produce these red oxheart tomatoes. They have a weight range from 7 ounces up to 12 ounces. So say they can get over 20 ounces. Our plants did not fair so well this year due to garden placement. But even though they did not do well for us, we are going to grow them again. We have to try them again because of the wonderful flavor. These are a meaty heart shaped tomato great for slicing, canning, and fresh eating. If you like Wes Tomato, you may like Mom’s Heart Tomato.
