These were developed by Brad Gates of California. They are a deep red/purple pear shaped tomato. Our average size for Wine Jug Tomato were 4oz, some say it can reach up to 9oz. They are a mid-season plant with regular leaves. This is also an indeterminate, with good yields. The flavor of these delicious fruits are rich and flavorful, but leans slightly to the acidic side.
