Yusupov Tomato

It is said that this tomato is a selection made by Karim Yusupov, a legendary breeder from the Uzbek Research Institute of Vegetables and Gourds. A late season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produce these red beefsteak tomatoes. Our weights averaged from 8 ounces (ca. 302 gram) to 10 ounces (ca. 378 gram) in size. Some have stated they could get up to 28 ounces (ca. 1,058 gram). These tomatoes have a sweet old-timey taste with a touch of acidity. A very flavorful tomato for slicing, canning, and sauces.
