Big Cheef  Red Tomato

There are several versions of this tomato per posted back in 2014 by Tatiana’s Tomatobase. They were results of a cross between Brandywine Sudduth‘s Tomato and an unknown Regular Leaf Tomato. There are said to be a yellow version, a potato leaf version stabilized by Bill Jeffers, and what we have here the red regular leaf version. This is a mid-season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produce the 1 pound plus tomatoes. They are a juicy tomato that is very meaty with an old-timey flavor.
