Black Supersteak tomato is a rare variety with an unknown origin. We got seeds for this tomato over 10 years ago from an older seeds collector. But what we do know about this fruit is it is a mid-season tomato plant with regular leaves. Also, this is an indeterminate variety which produce these large delicious beefsteak tomatoes. They have a weight range from 10 ounces up to 18 ounces. Be sure to stake your plants well because of the weight and production of this plant. The flavor of these fruits are rich with an old-timey taste but balanced and sweet. A very flavorful tomato to slice and put on your sandwiches.
