Blood Moon Tomato

Another great creation from Brad Gates of California. This was a cross between Pink Berkeley Tie Dye Tomato and Blue Beauty Tomato. A black beefsteak tomato with beautiful striping. These are a mid-season variety with regular leaves. An indeterminate plant which produce these beauties that have an average weight around 8 oz (ca. 302 gram). The flavors are sweet with some acidity. An excellent slicing fruit for sandwiches and trays. They could also be used for garnishes or to sell at farmers markets.
