This is a late season heirloom variety with regular leaves. These are an indeterminate tomato plant that grow quite large. They are a good producer of these large beefsteak tomatoes. Our largest Brutus Magnum Tomato was 1 lb 10 oz. There have been articles of this tomato getting even larger than what we grew. Some others have used this variety for tomato competitions. They are a meaty tomato with an old-timey rich flavor with slight acidity and a hint of sweetness. This tomato could be used as a slicer, canning or sandwiches.
