Guker’s Pink Tomato

This is a rare heirloom tomato we got from an old seed collector. After doing research of this tomato, it might be known as Guker‘s Special Tomato. But we are going by the name that was on the packet. These are a late season tomato plant with potato leaves. An indeterminate variety that produces these large beefsteak tomatoes. Be sure to stake your plants well due to the weights of these fruits. The weight s can range from 8 ounces to 14 ounces, but can get up to 17 ounces. They are very juicy and meaty tomato. There are a combination of sweet and acidic flavors, with a touch of sourness. These could be used in sauce, garnishes, or slicing. If you like this tomato, you may like Abe Lincoln Tomato.
