Italian Purple Tomato

This is a rare heirloom tomato. We grew several plants of Italian Purple Tomato this year. These are a potato leaf version, but we also discovered a regular leaf plant also. These are a late season tomato plant with potato leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produce these pink beefsteak tomatoes. The weights can range from 8 ounces up to 14 ounces. The flavor of these fruits is well-balanced with an old-timey taste. These tomatoes could be used for slicing, garnishes, or canning. If you like this tomato, you may like Angel Heart Tomato.
