Description
Kazachka (Beefsteak Version) Tomato
I got these seeds from the late Dr. Carolyn Male back in 2010 who got them from Russia. In 2011 after grow outs they found 2 different versions of this fruit, there is a cherry version and a beefsteak version. Kazachka tomatoes are very productive, midseason, regular leaf, indeterminate of black 2-4 oz fruits. Carolyn referred to this as the mini beefsteak version, they have a juicy sweet, rich complex flavor to them. The flavor lingers in your mouth, leaving you wanting more. Note some were more pleated than others depending on the size. They would be great to cut up in salads or get a couple slice and put hem on a sandwich. If you like this tomato, you may also like Black Early Tomato.
