This is a rareĀ heirloom bean that was grown in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee for five generations by the Caughron Family. Kermit Caughron, was the last man to live in the Smoky Mountain National Park. This a late season pole bean around 80 days. It is a heavy producer of these 5 inch beans.
