This is a rare heirloom tomato from Kentucky. There are 3 different kinds that were grown by Lenny and Gracie Adams. This variety produce these red beefsteak tomatoes. This is a mid-season tomato plant with potato leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produces these medium to large slicing tomatoes. The weights can range from 15 ounces up to 22 ounces. A very flavorful tomato that has an old-timey flavor with a nice balance of both sweetness and acidity. An excellent slicer for sandwiches or deli trays.
