Nuits Australes Tomato

This is a rare tomato from France. There are 2 different leaf versions of this plant. The one we have here is the rare potato leaf version. This a mid-season tomato plant with potato leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produce these black beefsteak tomato with black stripes. The weights rang from 6 ounces (ca. 227 gram) up to 12 ounces (ca. 454 gram) in size. This is a juicy fruit on the sweet side with a rich and smooth taste. These tomatoes are great slicers, fresh eating or even canned.
