Pink Sapphire Tomato

This tomato was originally a cross that Dean Slater did. Brad Gates worked with this cross and stabilized it. The results ended up to be this gorgeous-striped fruit. The flavor is on the sweet side with a hint of acidity. A mid-season plant with regular leaves. These are also an indeterminate, which produce a lot of these 2oz (ca. 76 gram) to 4oz (ca. 151 gram) fruits. Pink Sapphire Tomato have many uses from fresh eating, garnishes, salsa, or even add them to sauce to enhance the flavor.
