Solar Flare Tomato

This tomato was created by Brad Gates of California. Solar Flare Tomato has both sweet and acidic flavors to them, but definitely more sweet than acidic. A mid-season variety with regular leaves. These are an indeterminate plant and very prolific. They produce striped beefsteak tomato, which range in size from 6oz (ca. 227 gram) to 10oz (ca. 378 gram). We would take these to the farmer’s market every week, they sold very well for us there. The looks of these fruits would bring customers to our booth.
