Purple Dove Bean

These beans were developed by the late Robert Lobitz. This is a half runner type bean. It is around a (70-75 day) bean for snapping. They are around (95–100 days) for a dried bean. This is an excellent producing plant. They yield these 4 inch to 5 inch purple pods. Added note when cooking these purple pods they will turn green. A great tasting bean for fresh eating, soups, or steamed. If you like Purple Dove bean, you may like Rattlesnake Bean. (15 seeds)
