Reinhard Krafts White Heart Tomato

This tomato was created by Reinhard Kraft of Germany. These were the results from crossing of Cherokee Green with several pink heart-shaped varieties. A mid to late season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. It is an indeterminate plant variety. The average weight range is between 10 ounces (ca. 378 gram) to 16 ounces (ca. 605 gram). You may get a couple exceptions. We had a couple of these fruits get over 2 pounds (ca. 907 gram) (photo below). These are a juicy tomato that is very meaty inside. They have a sweet flavor with a touch of acidity. An excellent tomato for slicing and canning. If you like this tomato, you may like Yazon Tomato.
