Ridge Runner Tomato

This rare tomato was created and stabilized by the late Millard Murdock. It is a mid to late season tomato plant with potato leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that is an exceptional producer of these black beefsteak tomatoes. The weights of these fruits can range from 5 ounces up to 12 ounces in size. These tomatoes are very juicy and well-balanced but leaning towards the acidic side. This meaty and very flavorful tomato could be used for slicing, sandwiches, and canning.
