Sparks Yellow Tomato
This heirloom tomato was grown for many years by Don Sparks. He was a Kentucky native and gave seeds to Craig LeHoullier named yellow tomato. So, he named it Sparks Yellow tomato in honor of him. This is a late season tomato plant with potato leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produce these yellow beefsteak tomatoes. The weight can range from 8 ounces up to 16 ounces. The flavor of these fruits are sweet and delicious with no acidic taste. These tomatoes could be used for slicing, canning, garnishes, and markets.
