This is a rare Russian heirloom tomato. The name translate to English means Old Believer. This is a mid-season tomato plant with potato leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that is a heavy producing plant until frost time. Be sure to stake your plant well because of how much these produce. The weights can range from 8 ounces (ca. 302 gram) up to 13 ounces (ca. 491 gram). These were a popular tomato at the farmers market. The flavor of this delicious fruit favors the sweet side, with a touch of acidity and some citrus notes. This tomato could be used for slicing, canning, or fresh eating.
