Description
Sugar Rush Peach Pepper
A long peach-colored pepper that ranges on the Scoville scale from 50,000 to 150,000 (SHU). These are close to the heat levels of a Habanero Pepper. How Sugar Rush Peach Pepper came about was an accidental cross from open pollination, that happened in pepper breeder Chris Fowler’s garden. These plants can grow to be about 5 feet (ca. 152 centimeters) tall. They are prolific and disease resistant too. The flavor is a bit complex, having a sweet sugar peach taste blended with heat and a smokiness. This pepper is very versatile from fresh eating to adding to sauces, powders, or pickled. If you want a pepper with less heat, check out Satan’s Kiss Pepper.
