Winter Thyme

Winter Thyme is also known as English Thyme. They can be planted in full to partial sun, but this herb will need at least 6 hours of sunlight. They also prefer well drained soil, so do not plant these where the ground in constantly wet. The recommended zones are 4 through 9 and is a perennial plant. An excellent herb to cook with and add to dishes to elevate flavors. This herb also has medicinal uses as well. Plus, the dried leaves could be used for aroma added to potpourris too. We also have other herbs which could be used to cook with or grown as flowers.
