CURTIS CHEEK TOMATO
Curtis Cheek Tomato
My friend Curtis got these seeds back in 2002 from a little old man that migrated to America from Russia in the 1980’s. The mans name was Ross, Curtis asked what the name was and the man replied he did not known. He then offered a slice of the tomato to him and he saved 2 seeds from that slice. The following year he grew it 1 plant survived. That year he named it Curtis Cheek since Ross did not know the variety it got lost threw the years. He got to save this wonderful Heirloom from disappearing and is able to keep going to future generations. This is a Regular Leaf, Heirloom tomato that produces large oxhearts with barley any seeds in them. A Late Season, Indeterminate, with outstanding balanced flavor. Definitely one of the best tomatoes I have had in my garden. All around this tomato is great for anything from sandwiches and salads to canning and pastes. (12 seeds)
