007 Tomato

This tomato was created by Dean Slater of Michigan. These are a mid-season variety with regular leaves. They are an indeterminate plant too. So they will produce up until frost time if you take of your plants. This tomato was bursting with flavors that were sweet with some slight acidity. There might be some variations from this plant. We only were able to grow 2 plants this year. They all produced the same dark striped beefsteak tomatoes and had weights from 6oz (ca. 227 gram) to 8oz (ca. 302 gram). The reason we say there might be some variations because this was the first year we grew them. This was a free packet from Dean, and it was noted on the pack 007 tomato project.
