Ancho Poblano Pepper

This is a mild chili pepper that originated from Mexico. The Scoville rating for this pepper ranges from 1,000 to 1,500 (SHU). A great pepper to add to powders and mild hot sauces. These are also an excellent pepper to cook with. They also could be used as a stuffing pepper too. This is an early producing plant which is great for short season growers. Ancho Poblano Pepper are a heart shaped pepper about 4 inches (ca. 10 centimeters) long with thicker walls. These may also be called Poblano Pepper.
