Butterscotch Beefsteak Tomato is a rare variety created by Dean Slater of Michigan. These are a mid-season variety with regular leaves. Also, an indeterminate plant which will keep producing til frost time if they are taken care of. This tomato has a unique butterscotch color to them. An average yielding plant that produces these 6oz (ca. 227 gram) to 8oz (ca. 302 gram) beefsteaks. The flavor of this fruit is complexed and unique. They are juicy with a paste flavor at first. Then a slight acidity comes in. A very flavorful tomato which could be used for fresh eating, slicing, paste, or canning.
