Lynn of Jone’s County Tomato

This is a rare heirloom tomato we got from an old seed collector. That is the only information we have on this variety, besides the growth habits. These are a mid-season tomato plant with potato leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that will produce until frost time. They yield these medium to large beefsteak tomatoes. The average weights for us were between 10 ounces (ca. 378 gram) and 12 ounces (ca. 454 gram). These are very juicy and meaty that leans towards the acidic side but with some sweetness.
