Here we will be discussing our selections of Rare Heirloom tomatoes we grew in the 2021 season. Most of these heirloom tomatoes are very hard to find.
Australian Beauty – These are an excellent large rare heirloom ox heart tomato. We are the only site that offers this tomato in 2021. All around, a great heirloom tomato that can be used for everything from slicing to canning. This tomato is very meaty with very few seeds in them. John Henry – A large red heirloom tomato I found back in 2016. This tomato was the largest tomato we grew in 2021 reaching a weight of 2 pounds 10 oz. Kremlin Chiming Clock – Another large red heirloom tomato that originates from Russia. An excellent, well-balanced meaty heirloom tomato that has weights well over 1 pound (ca. 454 gram). This tomato was named after a 15th century clock in Russia.
Mac’s Pride (Big Mac)Â – This is a century old heirloom tomato grown by the Brown family from Virginia. These heirloom tomatoes are very juicy and meaty. They are a large variety with weights over 1 pound (ca. 454 gram) and are very productive.
Pink Flamingo – A very rare heirloom tomato that came from Ukraine. There are 3 different versions of Pink Flamingo Tomatoes for sale on other site, but this version is not. The other versions are a dwarf version and an elongated variety. These are a medium size red beefsteak tomato with more of an acidic flavor to them.
