Open Pollinated Tomatoes

Open Pollinated Tomatoes
We offer the best collection of open pollinated tomatoes. Open pollinated or (OP) for short means 2 fruits crossed and grown for at least 2 generations. The tomatoes become F2s, but unstable. Around f5 generation of growing these tomatoes, they start to become stable. Next, (OP) means the tomatoes continued to be grown out for 49 years. Once the fruits reach 50 years old, they become heirloom tomatoes.

Some of our most popular open pollinated tomato seeds varieties include Sgt Peppers, Dwarf Adelaide Festival, Dwarf Blazing Beauty, Lucid Gem, Indigo Blueberries, and Gary O Sena.

We take over 40,000 pictures of all the varieties we grow and list every year. Also, we write all our own descriptions of each variety too. All the seeds we save are all grown by us. Be sure to check out our Tomato Talk Blogs to see what OMRI products we use on and in our garden.
