Alice’s Dream Tomato
Alice’s Dream Tomato –These are a mid-season tomato plant with regular leaves. It is also an indeterminate type that will produce until frost comes if you take care of your plants. With the beautiful skin color of these fruits, they are very popular at farmers markets. Which make customers curious to try them. Especially once they saw the inside of these fruits. Once they tried them, they keep coming back week after week for them. This was one of our most popular tomatoes at the farmers market.
The flavor of these bicolored tomatoes are a bit complex, being sweet, tart, and a bit of acidity. You would not think these flavors would work well together, but they do. This is also an excellent yielding fruit too. The plants produce these beefsteak tomatoes that range in weight from 8oz (ca. 302 gram) up to 14oz (ca. 529 gram). But when growing these tomatoes, make sure they get ample amount of sunlight to bring out more of the blue/black coloring. These can be used for slicing or adding them to sauces to elevate flavors. Cascade Village Blue Tomato
Cascade Village Blue Tomato – A mid-season variety with regular leaves. An indeterminate tomato which produces these 2 oz to 4 oz tomatoes. Most of the ones we grew averaged more to the higher weights with the exceptions we got a few weighing 8 oz. This is an antho tomato, so be sure your plants get as much sunlight as possible to bring out more of the blue coloring. These are more of an acidic tomato, but a smooth acidic taste. Crushed Heart Tomato
Crushed Heart Tomato –These are a heat tolerant mid-season tomato plant. They have average yields for an indeterminate variety. These did well for us at the farmers markets because of the looks and taste. This fruit has a meaty pink flesh with a sweet flavor with not much acidity. The weights we got for Crushed Heart Tomato were between 8oz (ca. 302 gram) to 11oz (ca. 416 gram). Make sure these tomatoes get a lot of sun to bring out more of the antho coloring. Midnight Select Tomato
Midnight Select Tomato – A mid-season tomato plant with regular leaves. These could be considered a dwarf tomato because they only get to be 4 feet (ca. 122 centimeters) tall. They could also be grown in containers as well. This is an indeterminate variety which is a heavy producer of these 1oz (ca. 38 gram) to 2oz (ca. 76 gram) antho tomatoes. Make sure they get a lot of sunlight to bring out as much of the blue coloring as possible. They are a full flavor tomato that has a slightly acidic taste to them. Pink Siberian Tiger Tomato
Pink Siberian Tiger Tomato – A late season tomato plant with regular leaves. This is a heavy producing indeterminate variety of these gorgeous blue and pink beefsteak tomatoes. Make sure these tomatoes get a lot of sunlight to bring out more of the antho blue coloring. The weights will range from 8oz (ca. 302 gram) to 12oz (ca. 454 gram). A juicy tomato with a well-balanced flavor. This could be used for slicing, fresh eating, or salads. Also, an excellent tomato for markets too.
