A small 3 person family operation Me, My Son, and My Mom were picking over 1,000 pounds a week. We were squeezing, drying and saving seeds of this amount weekly over a 8 week period. To hopefully have a large supply of seeds to fill seed orders to you our valued customers with very little out of stock issues. Here we posted 2 pictures of one of the weeks we picked 980lbs in one day 8/23/21 and had to get it weighed at a scrap metal business since it was so much. Of course when I got home we had to pick the extra 20 plus pounds to make it over 1,000 lbs for that day. That week was at the height of the picking season we averaged 1500lbs for that week. Some weeks were smaller at the beginning and at the end of the season. Other weeks were more like at the height of the season so on average comes out to be over 7,000 lbs for 8 weeks.
